How to apply for research scholarships
Research grant publications have specific eligibility and selection criteria, with places awarded based on a competitive ranking process. You should review the criteria on the Research Grants page to find a statement that matches your qualifications, experiences, and citizenship status.
In order to be considered for a scholarship, you must be applying for admission to a research degree. If you are assessed as being eligible for admission, you will be considered for a research grant under a competitive process, and if you are already enrolled in an equivalent research degree at Western Sydney University, you do not need to apply for admission.
After submitting an application for admission, you must return to the portal and submit an application for a research grant (there is a checkbox where you can choose to issue a research grant). • Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships (Canada)
The Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships (Vanier CGS) was created to attract and retain world-class doctoral students and to establish Canada as a global center of excellence in research and higher education. PhD Scholarships (or MSc / PhD or MD / PhD). The scholarship is valued at $ 50,000 annually for three years.
• Australia Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarship (Australia)

The scholarship period may vary from 3 to 12 months and includes a monthly allowance.
• New Zealand International PhD Research Scholarships (New Zealand)
NZIDRS offers scholarships for international students to undertake PhD study in any discipline at a New Zealand university. NZIDRS covers university tuition and associated student fees for 3 years, annual living stipend, and medical insurance.
• Adelaide International Scholarships (Australia)
The University of Adelaide offers the Adelaide Scholarships International (ASI) Program to attract high-quality international graduate students to areas of the university’s research strength to support its research efforts. The scholarships include course tuition fees, annual living allowance, and health.
• Melbourne Research Scholarships (Australia)
The Melbourne Research Scholarships (MRS) is established by the University of Melbourne and awarded to outstanding domestic and international research students. • University of Sydney international scholarships (Australia)

• Warwick Chancellor International Scholarships (UK)
Warwick Graduate School awards around 25 International Chancellor Scholarships to the most outstanding international PhD applicants annually. The scholarships are open to students of any nationality and any major offered at Warwick. Scholarships include full reimbursement of overseas tuition fees and a maintenance stipend.
• Edinburgh Global Research Scholarships (UK)
The Edinburgh Global Research Scholarships is designed to attract high-quality international research students to the University of Edinburgh. Each award covers the difference between a UK / EU postgraduate student tuition fee charged to a postgraduate overseas student. Prizes do not cover maintenance expenses.
• Global Mind PhD Scholarship Program at K.U Leuven (Belgium)
