If you are a student from a developing region of the world – including Asia, you may qualify for a number of international scholarships for Asia students in USA aimed at bringing a more diverse and inclusive student demographic to universities around the world.

Many scholarships for students from developing countries will have additional criteria, such as a specific country of origin or destination, a specific subject of study, or links to a specific university, so it may take some research on smart scholarships and a little flexibility to find the one that works for you.  However, there is no real reason why you should not be applying for 10 or more international scholarships in no time at all.

It is a known fact that the United States of America is the most expensive country to study and obtain a university degree.  But do not discourage this fact.  There are several other ways to obtain education funding to study for free in the United States by applying for US scholarships.  An international student can obtain funding in the United States with the sponsorship of the U.S. Department of Education;  Like Fulbright scholarship programs, there are many scholarships offered by American universities as well as for international students to study for free in the United States.

Here is a list of scholarships offered by US universities and the US government for international students.  Some of them are funded by foundations, some by the government and others by private organizations.  Hope this list of USA Scholarships was helpful to you:

Why study in the USA if you are from Asia?

Asian Americans represent a growing segment of the US population: Currently, the Asian American group in the United States makes up about 5% of the total population.  And individuals of Asian descent attend college in higher numbers than any other ethnic group – more than 40% reported participating in higher education at some level.

For Asian American college students, Financial Aid Resources runs the gamut from general government assistance to specialist grants and scholarships aimed at candidates of Asian descent.  State and federal programs provide the most aid overall, so for most students, government-supported aid is an essential resource.
